Camp Wenonah is a beloved summer tradition, trusted by families around the world. Located in Muskoka, Ontario, Wenonah is surrounded by lakes and forests, creating an inspiring setting where campers aged 5 to 17 thrive. We offer a diverse program with over 30 activities, from sailing and canoeing to arts and drama, ensuring every camper can explore their passions and learn new skills. Embark on a thrilling, 406 km journey down the Teslin and Yukon Rivers that will bring you into contact with the ruins of the Gold Rush, ancient and flourishing Northern Indigenous cultures, and wildlife like bears, moose, beavers, and more. During this introductory wilderness expedition training course, designed for young adults aged 19-25, you’ll navigate the pristine northern waters, learn and apply essential survival skills, and forge lasting connections with like-minded adventurers. This course is built upon the philosophy of outdoor experiential education pioneer Kurt Hahn, and is intended to be compatible with young adults participating in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award or who want to become outdoor educators and/or expedition guides. This course embodies Kurt Hahn’s idea of “education through adventure”, with teachables including introductory modules on climate change education, outdoor expedition and canoe skills, gear selection, risk management, and much more. This course will provide you with everything you need to safely lead others into the great outdoors and create exciting, transformative expedition experiences.

Here are just a few ways this expedition aligns with Gen Z’s values: Authentic Community Experiences: Gen Z craves authenticity of experience, particularly through immersion in the local community. This course integrates a multi-day homestay with the Indigenous Cotacachi people which includes workshops on language, cooking, and traditional crafts. Commitment to Sustainability: Gen Z is famously mindful of its environmental impact and wants travel options that align with its values. We use our pioneering World Bound Climate Change Curriculum, as well as work alongside the Indigenous-run Huasquila Ecolodge to practice environmental stewardship through tree-planting and organic farming volunteer experiences. Personal Growth: Travel for Gen Z is more than relaxation—it’s about self-discovery, leadership, and gaining new skills. All of our courses incorporate leadership training, outdoor skills development, and self-reflection activities to help young people find confidence and direction in their lives back home. The Gen-Z Fiji camp is based in the stunning Yasawa Islands, renowned for their turquoise waters, sandy beaches, and vibrant coral reefs. This remote paradise offers participants a serene environment to explore marine ecosystems and Fijian culture. The surrounding villages are warm and welcoming, providing opportunities to connect with the local way of life and participate in community-driven projects.

Our camp, located at the Barcelona International Sailing Centre (BISC), offers an unbeatable setting by the sea. Just a short distance from Barcelona’s vibrant downtown, campers can easily explore the city’s rich culture, museums, and attractions, making it the ideal summer experience for young adventurers.

Safety: Traveling in a group with experienced guides ensures a safer outdoor experience. Participants learn essential wilderness safety skills. Climate Change: Discussions focus on reducing carbon footprints, minimizing waste, and using sustainable transport. Indigenous Perspectives: Camps acknowledge traditional Indigenous lands and invite collaboration with local First Nations. Meals: Participants prepare nutritious meals in camp kitchens. Within walking distance of an old traditional North German village with farms and half-timbered houses, we have space on more than 150,000 m². The Academy is divided into the activity worlds Beach & Water, Survival, High Ropes and Creative. Each area offers space for countless exciting activities. Whether kayaking, jumping on the water trampoline, building rafts, survival training with shelter building and fire making or climbing in the high ropes course; adventure seekers and creative types will get their money's worth here.

In England, boarding schools have a long tradition and stand out for top of the range facilities. For our summer camp we have chosen one of the most prestigious schools in the country. As soon as you enter the premises you step into the world of Harry Potter especially when sharing your meals in the traditional Dining Hall built in 1844. On top of our high class language courses we offer a big variety of free time activities as well as excursions to the most impressive places in the North of England. By the way this amazing camp is set right at the sea with private access to the beaches of the Lancashire Coast!
