Daily Routine
After lunch and a much-needed rest, the afternoon is packed with leadership activities. Campers tackle challenges like kayaking, land stewardship, or SUP, all while reflecting on how to run these activities with kids. Team-building games, talent shows, and friendly competitions like volleyball or the camp Olympics foster collaboration and personal growth. It’s an exciting and dynamic way for campers to develop leadership skills while enjoying every moment of their camp experience.
Evenings at ICIT Camp offer a blend of relaxation and challenge.. After free time and dinner, campers can engage in wide games, test their skills in volleyball or ping pong, or enjoy creative arts projects. Team-building activities strengthen leadership skills, while campfires provide a reflective space to share stories and learn from each other. The evening concludes with a variety of engaging options like music, photography, or outdoor engagement under the setting sun.
Evening activities focus on learning how to organize activities for a bigger group of participants. Bingo night offers light entertainment, while campfires provide a relaxed environment for reflecting on the day’s learning experiences. Disco night adds a fun twist with music and dancing, while star gazing encourages quiet reflection.
Workshops
Prepare for a future in camp leadership with our Counselor in Training workshops. Engage in Debating and Communication Games to develop essential skills for guiding campers. Leadership Dynamics sessions focus on practical strategies for managing groups and creating positive camp environments. These workshops provide hands-on experience and valuable feedback, helping you build the skills and confidence needed to become an effective camp counselor, ready to lead and inspire future campers.
