Daily Routine
Afternoons bring hands-on adventure and discovery. Enhance your canoeing techniques during guided paddling sessions while spotting moose, bears, or beavers along the riverbanks. Dive into immersive wilderness workshops like plant foraging or campfire cooking, where you'll prepare meals with fresh-caught fish or locally sourced ingredients. Experience team competitions, such as relay paddling races, that build camaraderie and add an extra layer of fun to your wilderness training.
Evenings are where the adventure slows down, creating time for reflection and bonding. Gather around the campfire for cooking lessons using traditional northern methods, followed by storytelling sessions sharing local legends. Learn to map constellations with star-mapping workshops under the pristine Yukon night sky. Group games and trivia sessions centered on wilderness lore bring laughter and connection, rounding out the day with warm memories and newfound friendships.
Nights along the Teslin and Yukon Rivers are mesmerizing and tranquil. Embark on nighttime wildlife tracking expeditions, using sound and signs to discover nocturnal creatures. Participate in guided mindfulness meditations under a canopy of stars, connecting deeply with the natural world. Wind down with quiet storytelling or glow stick tag that blends adventure with relaxation. Yukon nights are magical moments of discovery, serenity, and shared joy.
