Overview
Highlights
Design in Town is a 2- or 3-week international summer design camp for high school students, created as an intensive career orientation program in design and creative disciplines. Participants work on real-world design projects alongside experienced design professionals, architects, and tutors. Each week, students complete multiple hands-on projects across different design fields, allowing them to explore their skills, interests, and personal motivation. Teachers, tutors, and students collaborate in a dynamic and supportive learning environment focused on growth, feedback, and experimentation. The program aims to help students make informed decisions about future studies and creative careers. Design in Town is supported by leading cultural and educational institutions, including: IED – Istituto Europeo di Design, USI Academy of Architecture (Università della Svizzera Italiana), Accademia di Belle Arti Aldo Galli – IED Network, Triennale Milano, Fondazione Cologni Mestieri d’Arte, and Fondazione Castiglioni.
