About the Staff
Camp Europe assembles a dynamic and passionate team of young adults, primarily aged 19 and above, from diverse global backgrounds. Each summer, approximately 200 staff members are selected to serve as Camp Counselors, Language Coaches, Outdoor Education Specialists, High Ropes Course Instructors, Leadership Coordinators, and Camp Directors. These individuals undergo intensive training, including a one-week preparatory course and a two-week shadowing period, equipping them with skills to engage effectively with children and manage various camp activities. The team is committed to fostering personal growth, intercultural exchange, and creating memorable experiences for campers across Europe.

Profile
- As an Intern for International School groups during the spring and later on at summer camp, you’ll lead thrilling outdoor activities, mentor campers, and inspire personal growth in a vibrant international setting.
- This role offers a unique blend of leadership development, outdoor adventure, and cross-cultural exchange.
- Placement rotation within diverse campsites throughout the length of the program in Germany, UK, Spain and/or Sweden.

Who Can Apply
- The Autumn Camp Internship role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with children and thrive in a team environment, and are available for at least 12 weeks, during the summer and until late October..
Requirements
- Age: 19+ by the program start date.
- Language Skills: Fluent English speaker; additional language skills are a plus.
- Experience: No prior experience is required, but experience in leadership or youth mentoring is preferred.
- Training: Must participate in an intensive Camp Counselor training program (provided).
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment: Available for 4 to 12 weeks from mid-June through late August.
- Adaptability: Enthusiastic about outdoor activities, adventure sports, and working in a multicultural environment.
